A charming Victorian black enamel and yellow metal mourning brooch.

To the centre, a panel of braided hair boarded by the phrase “In Memory Of”.

With simple pin back.

Dating to the latter part of the 19th century when pieces like this were very popular, and worn to remember a loved one.

Overall in very good antique condition. A few tiny areas of loss to the enamel as can be seen in photos. Wear is commensurate with the age of the piece.
