An early 20th century artist’s box by Roberson & Co of London.

This wonderful japanned metal case has a fitted interior containing a wide selection of period artist’s materials.

Included are various oil paints in tubes, brushes, wood palette, and two glass bottles, one labelled Turpentine, the other Linseed Oil, all produced by Windsor & Newton.

A lovely decorative piece which has become very sought after by interior designers and dealers alike.

The age related wear gives this a charming used and loved appeal that cannot be reproduced.
